We Are Back!

So I know it has been months since I posted anything, hopefully over the summer I will be more consistent at posting. So here's a little update on us-Adam and I are both finished with school, I am permanently finished and Adam (temporarily finished) is going to return for his last semester in the Fall. I graduated the first week of May with my Bachelors in Dental Hygiene, and it sure feels good to finally be done! So since we have all this free time on our hands, you are probably wondering what we are doing right? We have gone on a little adventure for the summer and are living in Boston! Adam is working here for the summer and I am just relaxing which is a little wierd. I never thought a day would come in my life where I could just sit and relax. I have always had something (mainly school)to keep me busy and now to have absolutely nothing is crazy, but i'm not complaining and know this "relaxation time" will come to an end faster than I think. It has been fun living in a different part of the country, Boston has so much to see and do!

FANIEUL HALL/DOWNTOWN

On the first Saturday I was here a bunch of the girls went downtown to Fanieul Hall which is in downtown Boston. It was a really fun place to visit and had tons to do. There were street performers, shopping, food ect. I want to go back when it's warmer and see more!All of us that went on the adventure downtown. As you can see we had multiple strollers, people probably thought we were crazy taking this many kids. We took the "T" (that is what they call their subway) into downtown and it was crazy having to pack all of these strollers up and down multiple flights of stairs and on and off the T.

This guy was walking around and told us he was in movies, so some of us decided to get a picture with him.

This place was crazy! All of the signs you see in the picture are different resturants. They had everything from pizza, sushi, pasta, indian, chinese, mexican and more. I had a piece of zuchinni pizza that was really good!

Downtown is so pretty!

Waiting for the T! There were some pretty creepy people on it and this guy kept talking to me telling me that he wasn't trying to pick me up, but that it was my job to pick up on him. I just ignored him but he kept talking. Psycho! I'm just glad there were a bunch of us together on there.

PLYMOUTH ROCK

On Sunday after church, we decided to go see Plymouth Rock with some of our friends. We also saw a replica of the Mayflower, and this really huge statue of the Forefathers. It was a great afternoon and we had a lot of fun!

And here it is! The famous Plymouth Rock! If you are looking at this picture and wondering why the rock is so small, don't feel bad I thought the same thing. I was imagining this massive rock, not a rock that looks like it got taken out of someones backyard. It was still cool to see though, maybe back in 1620 this was considered a "big" rock.

BOSTON TEMPLE

On Sunday we were able to go see the Boston Temple that is in Belmont, MA. It was really pretty and we were the only ones there. It had been raining really hard that day, and we actually almost turned back because of the rain. I'm glad we didn't and suprisingly it was really nice weather when we got there. We also went and drove through Cambridge, MA where Harvard is at. I forgot to take pictures, but it was a really nice town as well.

The flowers were so pretty! I really liked these yellow ones and I thought the purple ball ones were really pretty as well.

This was a cool walk way that was on the temple grounds. Adam insisted on being in the picture, he thinks we won't care about looking at pictures in ten years if one of us are not in them. Who knows, maybe he is right.

NANTASKET BEACH

We went to Nantasket Beach in Hull, MA on Memorial Day after the boys were done selling. We had a bonfire and made S'mores. It was a lot of fun, but a little cold.

We're terrible bloggers!

So, we are not good at this. We posted once and were all gung-ho (?) about starting a blog and thought that we would have all kinds of interesting things to write. We just knew that all of you would be so enthralled by our wonderful lives....It hasn't quite worked out like the way we planned. We felt that our lives aren't very exciting. We like to look at other peoples' blogs though. Megan is a secret "blog stocker" as she calls herself. She knows everything about all of our friends that have a facebook account or a blog. She and I like to look into other peoples' lives and find out everything about them, but we never write anything about us. So, to all of our friends, we know everything about you. I'm sorry that you know nothing about our lives.

Our lives are about the same. We both just finished school for the semester. I got my first D- ever. I had an online class that I neglected and just assumed that I would do ok. I was very incorrect in my assumption. So, there is one class that I have to retake. Megan, the more studious of our family, did very well. She graduates in May in Dental Hygiene. I'm looking forward to her supporting me in my goal to one day be a stay at home dad. Ha, I wish. No, actually I will have to find a good job because she is not much for working. She wants to have many babies and stay home.

Other than that we are doing great. We hope everyone has a merry Christmas. We will committ to posting regularly and eventually do pictures and all of the fun things that you love to look at.

We've given in to peer pressure..

Well...We have finally started a blog. We have felt left out until now and the only reason that we are writing a blog is so that we don't get ostracized by all of our blogger friends and family. There is not much for us to write about, but I will start by sharing some things that I think are funny. First of all, my (Adam's) mother Susan (bless her heart) was discussing earlier tonight how our whole family should do a blog together. I did not think this was such a great idea because I thought it would turn out like a family Christmas letter that contains a lot of embarassing information. So, the other reason that motivated us to write a blog about ourselves is that now I have an excuse why I can't join our family blog.

In other news, we are just still working an going to school. We can't wait until the day when someone will sponsor our lives. That is our lifelong goal! We don't have any kids yet. People always ask us when we are going to and they act like it is about time...Mind you we have only been married a little over a year. So, no kiddies on the way yet.
