So I know it has been a little while since I last posted and I have so much to post so be prepared for a major overload of pictures. These past few weeks have been pretty busy and we have done some really fun things. I want to make sure were making the most of our time here in Boston cause who knows when we will come back!
NEWPORT, RHODE ISLAND- MANSIONS
So about one hour away from where we live is Newport, RI. There are a ton of mansions along the coast, so one day after church we, along with a few of our friends, decided to go check them out. They are huge and I couldn't believe people actually live in some of these. It was neat to see though and very pretty walking along the coast!
COOKIE DECORATING CONTEST
Our friends Shawna and Nate were nice enough to invite us over to their house for a cookie decorating contest a few weeks ago. It was super fun and everybody was very creative. I forgot to take our camera but here are our lovely cookies. I couldn't resist and had to take a couple bites of my cookie, they were delicious!
Althought I graduated in May, I was able to go present some research that me and a few other classmates worked on our last year of school. We presented the first day and then attended a few Dental Hygiene events, but mostly played! There is so much to see in DC and it was fun being able to stay there for a week, but by the end I was ready to get home and see my hubby.
The Museum of Natural History!
A few weeks ago my family was able to come and visit us here in Boston! We had a lot of fun and were able to go to New York for a few days. We did some church history stuff and then went into the city for soome site seeing! We were also able to go around Boston and see some fun stuff too!

On Sunday we were able to go to the beach after church and Adam was finally able to come with us. We saw quite a few jelly fish that washed up on the shore, and even a live clam that my little brother dropped a rock on and it splattered all over us. I wanted him to break it open to see if there was a pearl inside. Just my luck there was not one :(. I also forgot to take pictures of this so you'll just have to use your imagination.

For the fourth of July Adam got of work early at 6:00. We went to the beach with all our APX friends and ate chipotle burritos and just relaxed. It was fun and nice to spend the evening together!
Us on the beach
Although we did not see any fireworks that night, we made some of our own ha ha! Actually we did this to embarrass Chad, for some reason he is opposed to PDA!
Finally a normal picture of my husband. Every time I take a picture of him he thinks he has to pull a face or something. I did however have to tell him to look noraml for this picture.
The boys playing ultimate frisbee!
This is ben and his gorgeous eyelashes! I would kill for lashes like that!
After church we decided to head up to Cape Cod. We packed a picinic lunch to eat on the beach, but ended up eating it on the lawn of an elementary school, cause all the beaches were making you pay 20.00 just to park-Lame I know. After eating our lunch, we found a place to park for free and walked to a nice little beach.

That is right! One of the sales guys out here has a halloween party for his birthday every year in July. It was so fun and everybody had really creative costumes. We played some fun games, had some yummy snacks and just hung out. I think we confused a few people in our apartment complex. Seeing people walking down the streets dressed up in july could be quite shocking.
